Synopsis

After a meteor crash contaminates a forest river with a strange blue substance, a group of high school seniors embark on a weekend hike with their no-nonsense PE teacher. Tensions rise among the diverse group, already fraught with bullying and personal struggles. Then, when one of the students is exposed to the toxic water and begins to mutate into a monstrous creature, the trip turns into a nightmare. As classmates attempt to navigate their way through the forest to find the bus that will take them home, they are hunted one by one. The teenagers must find a way to overcome their differences and work together to escape the woods alive, learning the true meaning of survival.
